Aqsa tv condemns US treasury for putting it on "terrorist-financing list"

[ 19/03/2010 - 12:54 PM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Aqsa Satellite tv station strongly condemned a decision by the US Treasury to put Al-aqsa tv on its terrorist-financing list, stressing that such a decision proves that the US administration supports the Israeli occupation's attack on al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hazem al-Shaarawi, director of the tv station said in an exclusive statement to PIC that the US Treasury decision will not stop the tv station from carrying out its duty of defending the Aqsa Mosque and exposing Israeli occupation crimes.

The Change and Reform Bloc, for its part, said that the decision to place the tv station and the Islamic Bank is immoral and only reflects the extent of American criminality against the Palestinian people and their just cause.

MP Mushir al-Masri, secretary of the Change and Reform Bloc, told PIC that the decision reflects the US's bias in favour of Israel as well as its disrespect for democracy and tolerance of other viewpoints, adding that the US was the other face of the occupation.
