IOF report praises Ramallah authority for quelling resistance
[ 22/04/2010 - 10:48 AM ]
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- A periodical report by the command of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) heaped praise on the PA in Ramallah for aborting many resistance attacks against those forces.
The report published by the Hebrew media on Wednesday said that among those foiled attacks were popular resistance rallies, which rebutted PA officials' claims that they supported popular resistance.
Falling in line with such activity, the militias loyal to the Ramallah authority and its former chief Mahmoud Abbas rounded up 13 Hamas supporters over the past 24 hours.
Locals reported that those citizens were arrested in Qalqilia, Nablus, Salfit, Ramallah, Tulkarem, Al-Khalil and Jenin districts.
They noted that the militias detained the mother of a wanted activist for five hours on Wednesday to pressure her son into giving himself up.
