GAZA, (PIC)-- MP Mushir Al-Masri, the secretary-general of Hamas’s parliamentary bloc, on Tuesday called on Fatah faction to release the Palestinian resistance fighters from its jails in order to respond to the Israeli decision to deport Palestinians from the West Bank.

Masri’s remarks came during a workshop, organized by Creativity foundation for research and studies, on the Israeli deportation decision, Salam Fayyad’s last speech and the US plan to resettle Palestinian refugees.

He underlined that the Israeli decision to exile tens of thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank is a declaration of war on the Palestinian people and the Arab nation.

The lawmaker urged Fatah to unleash the resistance fighters in the West Bank and to stop the Palestinian Authority (PA) from selling Palestinian lands and cooperating in the security field with the Israeli occupation.

For his part, senior Fatah official Salah Abu Khatla said during the workshop that the right of return is inalienable and Fatah officials and cadres are not allowed to waive it, noting that the sixth conference of Fatah emphasized the importance of adhering to the national constants, especially the return of refugees.

Abu Khatla stressed that Fayyad’s remarks about the Israeli decision to deport West Bankers and the right of return are not binding on the Palestinian people and if they were true, he would be out of the national framework.

The Fatah official called for confronting the Israel displacement decision through reaching a national consensus on a unified program based on upholding the common national rights and constants and ending the internal division.
