Abu Kuwaik: Specialized committees to dismantle security apparatuses

[ 09/05/2011 - 10:29 AM ]

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Sheikh Hussein Abu Kuwaik, a Hamas leader, said that specialized committees would be formed to study means of dismantling the existing security apparatuses then restructuring them.
He told an Aqsa TV program on Saturday night that the security issue was the most complicated issue in the reconciliation process.
He said that presence of true intentions on the part of Fatah would lead to resolving all issues including the Zionist pressures, which, he said, the Palestinians should face with united ranks.
Abu Kuwaik asked the PA leadership not to depend solely on foreign aid and taxes but should rather resort to supportive projects and Arab support.
The Hamas leader blamed the former Egyptian regime for the delay in Palestinian reconciliation, adding that the current regime was a major contributor in the reconciliation.
