Palestinian forces demand boycott of Israeli goods in response to tax suspension

TULKAREM, (PIC)-- Palestinian political forces in Tulkarem have demanded a boycott of Israeli goods in response to the Israeli government's decision to suspend transfer of tax money for the Palestinian Authority.

The forces described the Israeli step in a statement on Tuesday as "outright piracy" and flagrant violation of the international law and bilateral agreements other than being a clear embodiment of mass punishment.

They called for boosting popular struggle and exposing the Israeli occupation authority's practices and aggressive policies.

The forces said that national reconciliation was an important requisite toward realizing the Palestinian people's dream of independence, freedom, and return of refugees.

They said that the Israeli step to freeze Palestinian money in retaliation to the reconciliation would only enhance their insistence on the agreement and on struggle for liberation.
