CAIRO, (PIC)-- Secretary-general of the Muslim brotherhood group in Egypt Mohamed Badi'a met on Saturday in Al-Moqattam suburb near Cairo head of Hamas's political bureau Khaled Mashaal and all the Palestinian delegations that signed the reconciliation deal.
Badi'a expressed during the meeting his happiness at the Palestinian reconciliation agreement that was signed a few day ago in Cairo by all Palestinian resistance factions.
He stressed that this agreement made the Palestinian factions more bound to support the option of reconciliation, renounce division and estrangement and be one hand in the face of the Israeli occupation state that wants to keep the Palestinians divided.
The head of the Muslim brotherhood emphasized that his group would always be supportive of the Palestinian people's unity and their struggle against the occupation.
For his part, head of Hamas's political bureau Khaled Mashaal expressed his sincere thanks to Egypt for having sponsored the Palestinian reconciliation, hoping at the same time that one day the Egyptians could come to Palestine to pray at the Aqsa Mosque.
Mashaal praised what he called the spirit of change taking place in Egypt, stressing that the Egyptian revolution made the liberation of Palestine possible.
"We and our brothers in Fatah Movement along with all other Palestinian forces did not choose the division, but it was forcibly imposed on us, but thanks to the Egyptian official and popular sponsorship, we will overcome this division to strengthen the internal front in order to be able to face the Zionist occupation and restore our land, holy sites and the Aqsa Mosque," the Hamas political leader highlighted.
