On 'Foreign Policy's' story on Hezbollah, by Randa Slim!

FLC

As we suspected. "You've come a long way,...Randa!"

"FYI ------- , I was at the Hizbullah media office today and I talked with Ibrahim Mousawi about Randa Slim (I had sent him FLC's entry about her plus the original article yesterday). I recalled how Ibrahim had once asked me if she worked for Carnegie as she had falsely claimed to the Hizbullah Media Office & that she was doing research on Hizbullah for them. So it didn't surprise me when Ibrahim said that Randa's  "several-Hizb-officials-from-different-tiers" of the organization consisted of one Traad Hamadeh--whom as you know is NOT  a Hizbullah member but an independent politician with close ties to the movement--whom she met in the Vatican. Yep, the Vatican. So much for Foreign Policy's publication standards. Would love to see if these standards would apply to an article which claims to present the views of the Obama administration,  based on  an unspecified number of allegedly personal interviews with anonymous US officials at undisclosed locations....Tsk Tsk indeed..."
