The Syrian government forces dealt the takfiri military groups one of the deadliest blows to date in Darayya, near Damascuss. Independent military sources confirmed around 250 of the militants were killed in recent clashes that led to the liberation of all the area.
Military Observers and Western sources say the Syrian government forces were able to regain the initiative in many areas in Syria. Besides the capital, they add, the official forces have the upper hand in Daraa, Hama, Homs, and all the coastal areas.
