Abu Zuhri: Nakba events turning point
[ 15/05/2011 - 05:31 PM ]
GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas spokesman Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri has described the events that took place in Palestine and on its borders to commemorate the Nakba as a turning point in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
He said in a statement on Sunday that the events prove that the Palestinian people want to return to their homeland and end occupation regardless of the price.
Abu Zuhri hailed the Palestinian and Arab masses that stood up to the "Zionist challenge", stressing that it posed as a message to occupation that the Palestinians would eventually return to their land.
He said that Hamas holds the Israeli occupation responsible for the lives of those who died in the marches, demanding an international campaign to denounce the Israeli wanton killing of civilians in those peaceful marches.
