Third Intifada announces Naksa day, a day for allegiance to Jerusalem

The organizers behind the popular “third Palestinian intifada” page on Facebook have said that pledges were taken by activists who took to the streets on Nakba Day to continue the path of peaceful protest until the liberation of Palestine.

They also announced a new and upcoming series of events due early June.

The group listed in a statement other achievements that were made as Arabs responded on Nakba Day to the website's successful calls to peacefully protest within the occupied Palestinian territories and around its borders.

They said that they physically practiced the refugees’ right of return in a way that will not be forgotten and penetrated the Israeli security forces.

In addition, they said that they opened new horizons in the forms of resistance by using the internet.

”The past days have proven that it is possible to liberate Palestine, even through the unarmed public,” the statement says. ”That is if the people decide that they are prepared to pay the bill for the liberation of Palestine in one instance and not in instalments, however high the price may be...even if it costs a million martyrs in a million man march from all border areas and popular rallying inside the Palestinian territories aiming at uprooting the settlements.”

”Then the liberation of Palestine will be a fact in which we live, and not dreams for which we wish,” the statement goes on to say.

Separately, the organizers revealed plans to launch world Jerusalem pledge day on June 7 in every country across the planet to mark the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem.

They pointed out that announcements would be made for open events during the next few days on several websites.
