At least four bomb explosions have rocked Wednesday a district near the
Syrian capital city of Damascus, the Syrian state TV reported.
It further mentioned that the two bombings coincided with the detonation of two explosive devices by terrorists in al-Nahda and al-Qerayyat neighborhoods in the city.

broadcast footage of firemen hosing down the blackened and charred hulks of two
vehicles after the explosions.
It said 10 bags containing the remains of
unidentified victims had also been collected. Eighty-three people were seriously
wounded, it said.For its part, the state TV reported that "at leat 34 people were killed in explosions which struck Jaramana," quoting a source at the Interior Ministry. On Tuesday, the Syrian newspaper al-Watan published the names of 142 insurgents from 18 countries, who were killed while fighting against Syrian security forces. "Most of the insurgents were killed in October and November in the cities of Aleppo, Homs, Idlib, Deir al-Zour and Hasakeh," the paper said. The Syrian government has repeatedly said that foreign-backed "terrorists" are responsible for the unrest in the country, and that certain Arab and Western states are fueling the turmoil.
