The union, which includes members of Jordanian tribes of all provinces, condemned the special provisions offered to several deserting Syrian officers, a special treatment meant to allow them to meet with Israeli officials in Israel, which is referred to by the front as "the occupied territories."
Spokesperson for the front, Sheikh Mohammad Halef Al-Hadid, told the newspaper that the Jordanian security services are aware of the secret meetings, said to negotiate the "American-Zionist plan for Syria," which aims to protect the border at the Golan Heights. By that he implied that rebels will take control of areas on the Syrian-Israeli border.
According to Al-Hadid, another aim of the meetings is to acquire the remains of Israeli spy Eli Cohen.
He condemned the contact between Jordanian authorities and their Western and Zionist counterparts, and even warned the Syrian people of these "traitors and sneaks," claiming they pose a danger the revolution in Syria.
