OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation police have been escalating arrests in lines of Palestinian minors in the Silwan suburb in occupied Jerusalem on suspicion of throwing stones at settlers' vehicles and houses in the same suburb, a Hebrew daily reported on Tuesday.
Ha'aretz said that the policemen storm the homes of those children, in the age category of 12 to 15, at night and take them away in shackles.
Children told the paper and B'Tselem for human rights that violence was used against them during interrogation rounds including kicking and slapping.
The paper noted that 25 children were detained in Silwan in the past few months.
The occupation police claimed that no violence was used against those children, adding that the arrests would continue until the stone throwing incidents are over.
