OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Al-Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage warned that the Israeli plan to demolish about 22 Palestinian homes in Silwan area in occupied Jerusalem is a prelude to building the alleged temple of Solomon in place of the Aqsa Mosque.
The foundation said in a report on Tuesday that the plan means that Israel has accelerated the construction of the alleged temple's premises.
It also warned of not dealing with this issue as an Israeli intent to demolish only Palestinian homes, noting that this plan was preceded by other Judaization plans targeting Silwan area for it is the southern defense line of the Aqsa Mosque.
In another context, participants in a workshop held Tuesday in Gaza called for using all legal and media means to confront the Israeli military decision to exile four lawmakers from Jerusalem.
Palestinian minister of prisoners' affairs Mohamed Al-Ghoul strongly denounced during the meeting the Israeli decision and demanded the Arab League and the UN Security Council to urgently convene to take action that could stop the policy of deportation pursued by Israel against the Palestinians in Jerusalem.
For his part, Palestinian lawmaker Mohamed Shihab said in his speech that Israel follows a systematic policy aimed to empty the Palestinian land from its indigenous people in order to fulfill its ultimate goal of declaring the Jewish state.
