OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage (AFEH) has warned of Jewish exploitation of the world's preoccupation with events in Tunisia and Egypt.
It said in a statement on Monday that Jewish fanatics might storm the holy Aqsa Mosque to perform their rituals.
It also warned that the Israeli occupation authority might take swift action and impose de facto conditions on the ground such as dividing the holy Islamic shrine between Muslims and Jews including allowing Jews to perform mass prayers and Talmudic rituals inside the Aqsa.
The Foundation affirmed that it would continue to defend the holy site along with all Palestinian Muslims.
The AFEH statement followed an Israeli TV report on Sunday that depicted Jews praying inside the Mosque. The report said that such practice might ignite the entire region.
