RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Hundreds of Palestinian citizens chanted Thursday against the infamous Oslo agreement, and called on the Palestinian factions to end the Palestinian political rift and to achieve the national reconciliation immediately.

The demonstrators started from outside the PLC building in Ramallah and gathered at the Manara square in the heart of the city waving Palestinian flags and chanting one slogan that is "The people want to end political division".

They also burned the US flag during the rally in a clear message to the world that they reject the American pressures on the Palestinian leaders in Ramallah that derail and abort all efforts to restore Palestinian national unity.

Demonstrators called for the formation of one Palestinian government in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and for the building of a new Palestinian political system based on resistance to revive the Palestinian national project.

They also distributed leaflets to participants of the series of activities they would conduct starting Sunday till Friday, urging the Palestinian people to join weekly peaceful rallies against the apartheid wall.
