In February 2012, Patrick Buchanan, an American conservative politician, journalist and author was interviewed on Russian Television (RT). During the interview he claimed that Israel with 300 nuclear bombs is naturally greater threat to United States than Iran which has no nuclear bomb. Watch the video below.

A great majority of Yankees believe in political wrong myths about the Middle East.
1) Israel is America’s greatest ally in the region, and
2) Israel is the only democracy in the region, and
3) Iran is a great threat to the region and the United States. Let us study the facts.

1. Israeli Mossad maintains its largest espionage network in United States. Many of country’s top spies, executed, jailed or pardoned – were Jewish. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are the two American spies executed for treason. Jonathan Pollard is serving life sentence without pardon. The notorious billionaire fugitive Marc Rich who founded Glencore and made to FBI’s Most Wanted list, along with Osama Bin Laden, was pardoned by Bill Clinton during his last days of Presidency.

Israeli Jewish author Barry Chamish admitted a few months ago that Israelis and American Zionists carried out the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

No Iranian has been convicted for espionage activities in the United States.

2. Israel’s military hero Gen. Matti Peled’s son Miko Peled, American Jew Zionist author Marianne Williamson, British Jewish author Gilad Atzmon and several other western Jewish and non-Jewish intellectuals agree that Israel is not a democracy. In reality, Israel is a colonial entity that sends native Muslim and Christian Palestinians to separate and unequal schools, determines housing and water distribution based on a person’s Jewishness, and restricts the movement of Palestinians. Natives are routinely stopped for security checks without probable cause, while Jews rarely are. Israel has no written Consitution and no internationally recognized borders.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has a Constitution which provides for a democratically elected Majlis (Parliament) with reserved representation from country’s religious minorities like Christian, Jewish and Parsee, and a President, elected every four year. Both the President and Majlis are subject to the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei in the matter of national security.

3. Various international polls have shown that a great majority of people in the Muslim world (2010) and among the 15 European Union nations (2003), consider Israel as the greatest threat to world peace. Iran has no history of war with its neighboring countries during the last 150 years. Israel, on the other hand, has invaded all of its neighors since its creation by the western colonial powers in 1948.

Both Israel and the US have been involved in terrorist and assassination acts inside Iran since 1980s. Israeli Mossad has armed and trained anti-regime terrorist millitant organizations People’s Mujahedin (MEK) and Jundallah.

The American media claims that Iran is led by irrational terrorists hell bent on acquiring nuclear weapons. To counter this, the former head of Mossad, Meir Dagan, recently told CNN that the Iranian government and its President, Ahmadinejad, are rational. This is coming from a man who has no love for the Iranian people and even favored murdering innocent Iranian nuclear scientists. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Dempsey, also stated in a CNN interview that there is no evidence that Iran is seeking a nuclear weapon and that the Iranian government is a rational actor. The only leader acting irrationally is Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been caught lying to the American public to push for wars in Iraq, Iran, and Syria,” wrote Adam Bilzerian on November 30, 2012.
