GAZA, (PIC)-- The forum of Palestinian journalists (FPJ) on Saturday called on all free Palestinian and Arab media institutions to develop an urgent plan intended for exposing Israel’s crimes and violations in the occupied city of Jerusalem and supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people there.

The forum stressed the need to use the media to highlight the Zionist dangers threatening the holy city and the Aqsa Mosque.

The forum strongly denounced the Israeli police and military special units for assaulting three cameramen working for international news agencies during the confrontations which broke out Friday in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amud in Jerusalem.

The forum said that the Israeli assaults on journalists and press cameramen are aimed to prevent them from conveying the truth of what is happening in the holy city, hailing at the same time Gaza radio stations and Al-Quds satellite channel for covering the events in Jerusalem.
