RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- An Israeli intelligence agent has threatened to liquidate Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, while escorting him to detention a few days ago.
The Sheikh said in a statement that the agent started threatening him after detention and then insulted the Sheikh.
Sheikh Salah said that what happened was the result of the campaign of incitement by the Israeli ministers and officials and the result of earlier edicts by senior rabbis that allowed killing of Muslims.
Israeli police detained Sheikh Salah for a few hours and released him after barring him from entering occupied Jerusalem for 30 days at the pretext that he called on Palestinian masses to confront the Jewish fanatic groups that tried to storm the Aqsa Mosque.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Palestinian worshipers holding vigil inside the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday foiled an attempt by a number of Jewish fanatics to storm the holy site.
Local sources in the city said that a number of settlers were trying to infiltrate into the Mosque along with a group of foreign tourists.
However, the sources said that the worshipers spotted them and aborted their attempt, adding that worshipers were still holding vigil inside the holy site.
Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, had repeatedly warned of the settlers' attempt to storm the holy site and that their attempts would not cease in a bid to judaize the holy site and divide it similar to what took place in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Hamas condemned the security militias loyal to former PA chief Mahmoud Abbas for preventing the Palestinians in the West Bank from organizing demonstrations in support of the Aqsa Mosque.
The Movement in a statement in the West Bank said that the security apparatuses, controlled by Fatah faction, only allowed Fatah supporters to organize such rallies, and noted that those rallies had miserably failed with only tens of people participating.
The limited number of participants showed that the Palestinians did not trust Fatah and its leadership, Hamas said.
It said that Fatah was trying to cover up for the scandal of withdrawing the Goldstone report from voting, adding that Fatah's popularity was dwindling.
