CAIRO, (PIC)-- An active group on the Facebook website intends on the ninth of March to organize an online day in solidarity with the besieged Gaza Strip.

The group’s webpage has been given the title of “one thousand days Gaza under siege” and will include pictures and video and audio snapshots illustrating the steadfastness of Gaza people during the war and 1,000 days of a tight blockade imposed on them by Israel and the Egyptian regime.

In another context, the Israeli foreign ministry warned former head of the Mossad Ami Ayalon that he might be arrested during his expected visit to Britain in the coming days on charges of committing war crimes against Palestinians.

The Israeli Haaretz newspaper said that the Israeli ambassador to Britain sent an urgent message to Ayalon warning him of the consequences of this visit because of the efforts made by pro-Palestinian organizations in Britain to obtain an arrest warrant against him.

Ayalon’s visit was intended for participating in a debate against two international figures who contributed to the Goldstone report.
