Prefabricated homes aboard flotilla to Gaza
[ 01/05/2010 - 09:41 AM ]
BRUSSELS, (PIC)-- Prefabricated homes and relief material would be among the assistance sent to Gaza Strip aboard a flotilla of ships, the European campaign to end the siege on Gaza said in a statement on Saturday.
The Brussels-based campaign said many international media outlets would take part in the sea journey to Gaza including the European "euronews".
Member of the campaign Mazen Abu Kuhail said that major western media channels would cover the event, noting that live broadcast would accompany the trip.
Any attempt to intercept the convoy at sea would be met with steadfastness on the part of the participants, he said, adding that the world would witness the Israeli occupation's violations, if they happen, against foreign activists live.
More than 600 activists would take part in the flotilla of ten ships, Abu Kuhail underlined.
