NAZARETH, (PIC)-- Tens of thousands of Palestinians attended the 15th festival of "Al-Aqsa Mosque in danger" held in Umm Al-Fahm town in the 1948 occupied lands on Friday evening and listened to a written speech sent by Sheikh Ra'ed Salah from his cell in Ayalon prison.
"I like to tell you that I am still convinced that this year hides fateful dangers to sacred Jerusalem and the holy Aqsa Mosque, and these threats in my view are limitless to the extent that they could be against the platform of the Aqsa Mosque or there could be attempts to impose the building of the temple at the expense of the Mosque or force its partition between Muslims and Jews," Sheikh Salah said in his letter.

Sheikh Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands, stressed that the best response to these Israeli threats is to form a mass human shield protecting the Aqsa Mosque through frequenting and praying inside it on a daily basis.

He also called for supporting the Jerusalem people financially and spiritually through their respective institutions for this would strengthen their steadfastness and their support for the Islamic holy sites.
