AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Elements of the "notorious" PA preventive security apparatus under the command of Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank stormed on Thursday night the house of Hamas MP Mohammed Abu Juahaisha in the town of Ethna, west of Al-Khalil city.

Abu Juhaisha was released from Israeli jails a couple of days ago after eight years in detention.

According to the legislator, a big force from the apparatus raided his home and ransacked it before demanding him to surrender his eight sons for interrogation although they didn’t inform him what are the charges against them are.

The PA Mukhabarat (General intelligence department) and the preventive security apparatus often stormed the lawmaker's home and kidnapping his sons for interrogation, neighbors of Abu Juhaisha confirmed.

The incident, however, drew strong condemnation from the Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc, the biggest bloc in the Palestinian parliament, as MP Dr. Ahmad Bahar, the first deputy-speaker of the PLC, described the raid as part of the PA crimes against the elected representatives of the Palestinian people and their families.

"This is just part of the PA criminal series against the elected members of the parliament and their families…. indeed the Fatah authority in Ramallah had lost all ingredients of nationalism and honor, and it started to gradually decline to its inevitable demise", said Bahar in reaction to the raid.

Hamas's bloc in the parliament also deprecated the raid and warned Fatah authority in Ramallah that it had crossed all redlines by this mean raid on lawmaker's home, and demonstrated high level of moral descent that the Palestinian public rejects.

"Indeed, the daily arrest of tens of Hamas supports and the violations against the elected representatives of the Palestinian people at the hands of the militia of Mahmoud Abbas has gone beyond the limits, and become unendurable, and thus, it is Fatah alone that must be answerable and responsible for any bad consequences such practices might produced", the bloc asserted in a statement it issued to condemn the raid on the MP's home.

In this regard, the bloc urged the entire Palestinian political spectrum to work together to isolate the "mischievous" gang that lead Fatah Movement and to stop it from destroying the Palestinian social fabric.

Members of the Palestinian legislatures also condemned the raid on the house of their colleague, underlining that the raid was a wrong calculation on the part of Abbas's militia and goes against terms and rules of the Palestinian constitution stipulating the immunity of the MPs.

In this concern, the legislators urged Fatah authority in Ramallah to stop such harmful deeds, and called on her to return back to the Palestinian main stream before it is too late.
