Although Khudari blamed the Israeli occupation for the unjust siege on Gaza, the lawmaker didn’t exonerate the international community from the responsibility with the unexplainable silence it had adopted since the siege was imposed nearly four years ago.
In a statement he made, Khudari called on the Arab and Muslim Ummah to use their political, diplomatic, financial, and international relationships among other factors of strength to end the blockade on Gaza.
"There are thousands of Palestinian people living in the open (as a result of the Israeli war on Gaza last year), and that almost 90% of Gaza waters became contaminated and hard to reach to Palestinian homes.
He also highlighted the problem of electricity, warning that many sick Palestinians lying in hospitals could face death if the problem persisted.
He also accused the IOA of deliberately closing the crossing points and allowing only 100 trucks loaded with little assistance while Gaza Strip needs at least 600 fully loaded trucks to keep the 1.5 million people alive.
